HEY!!
So today was a very busy day so I didn't get to blog till now...
and all I want to do is get ready for bed.
there is nothing new with Thailand today and I'm not in the mood to think real hard about something to write so here is a recap of my day.
Woke up, went to church, it was totally awesome by the way : ) when I got back to campus I volunteered with the special Olympics we had on campus. I was assigned to 11v11 soccer I loved watching them play. Minus the rain it was a blast!
Than literally just did nothing for the rest of the day besides running around doing things here and there. Now I am getting ready for bed. More on the special Olympics tomorrow and Thailand stuff.
This is another one of my roommates Hannah

3 days in a row *pats on back*
Hey!!!
I have no clue about what to write about today......
Nothing is really going on.
hmmmmm what to talk about.....
Intercultural understanding questions...
These were the hardest questions i had to answer about traveling abroad.....
Except one the last one was completely ridiculous or at least that's what I though from traveling before....
Question 1:
What is your greatest challenge going to be while living in a developing country?
Question 2:
What are your expectations of living and studying in Thailand?
Question 3:
Please describe a challenging intercultural interaction you have experienced and what did you learn?
Question 4:
How will you handle your new found fame and freedom while living in Thailand?
OK questions 1-3 took some serious thought... Question 4.. mentions how will you handle your new found freedom some sexual..... Sometimes I forget how stupid people are and companies need to ask this question.... Really do we have no respect for ourselves and others that we would think about not going to class and partying and having sex all day?? Sadly I do know some people who would do that... I cant believe that today's youth.... That I am associated with actually thinks that way.. I'm not saying I never do anything nor that everyone else parties and has sex its just what you hear about
OK that topic was getting to serious...
Happy note I got visitors today!!!
It was parents day here at ESU. and my parents came to visit me.. sorry there is no picture I forgot to get one before they left, besides i doubt my parents would want to be on here at all...
I have also decided to introduce you to one friend a day until well i run out of close friends today is Josh.
Until Tomorrow

ESU abroad meeting
HEY!!!
So ESU wants to be uber annoying about this whole studying abroad thing....
We all need to attend a meeting to go over the fact that we are allowed to be prosecuted in our host countries.... NO DUHHH!!!! Just because we are American Citizens does not mean that we are free to do what ever we want in other countries....
Another side note there are more serious consequences for certain convictions than here in the USA...
In other words if it's illegal here it's illegal there.
When you do travel though make sure you do look for laws that you don't think of twice here. In Thailand it's against the law to speak badly about the Royal Family.... Here we can say whatever we want about Obama....
Little differences like that
Remember even though you don't think about it, they are your host country....
You should treat them with more respect than you do in the States..
If you were to go to a friends house would you talk badly about their parents OF COURSE NOT
Be smart don't get arrested cause if you do the USA can't do squat about it so you are SOL...
See you in a few years if you ever get out.
So i have to attend a meeting "X" amount of time long on "X" date in the month of October...
all well at least it means I'm one step closer woot woot!!!
Oh by the way remember my roommate who i said will be responsible for reminding me to blog this is her : )
I love her to death.
Give me comments!!

Dang its been a long time/update
HEY
OK OK OK I know its been like over 2 months since I put anything up and you are probably only reading it now because well there is a link on my facebook page. SORRY.... I have been super busy up here at college, but I have decided to try and start up again. My roommate is gonna hold me to it she just doesn't know it yet. lol
UPDATE ON THAILAND:
90% of the paperwork has been completed. I have signed my life away, my doctor had to fill out made amounts of forms. I sent them all in a week ago today : ).....
All that's left is actual a sample essay from my home university which is actually written but is more of a creative writing piece therefor has some serious slang in it so it needs to be revised before I send it to anyone. A digital picture which i can finally take because my sunburn is gone. and that's it for The Education Abroad Networks info and Payap Universities info that is required. For ESU's application all that is left is to get my credits approved. But since the course selection is not available yet that is just a waiting game.
I'm going insane with how quickly the time is passing we are all ready finishing up our 5th week of school here at ESU. Which means there are only 10 more weeks left like really i feel as if i just got here yesterday. For those who don't know how busy i am this semester good thing you don't know for example this past week i got about 4 hours of sleep in 48 hours....yea
OK that's all i really got to say if I'm forgetting to mention something leave me a comment and I'll add it tomorrow

Chiang Mai
Hey
Today like i promised I will be talking about Chiang Mai.
Chiang Mai is the largest city in the northern part of Thailand. It is up in the mountains. And is very culturally important to the country.
Chiang Mai has many different types of food available through out the city. From Malaysian, Thai, and other surrounding cultures including American. There is a 7/11 that i know is located in Chiang Mai so i will definitely be hitting that up at least once during my stay. Just because I can. Also, there are a lot of night markets and street markets. Which I am told my roommate will help me explore and learn and try new things. I'm actually a little afraid of some of these markets I'm not too sure what to expect but I'm sure there is something there I will find good and safe to eat. It's a new experience right??
On top of that I am in the Mountains where there are many hill tribes.
Not much has changed for them. They live up in the mountains and live off the land kind of like native Americans used to do. What I was not aware of until I was around 13 is that there are still tribes that live in the world. Many people don't know that.
Sorry to cut this off but I need to go to a friends for a party and I still need to shower and all that fun stuff so. Comment below if you wanna learn more.
My post from yesterday I wrote but forgot to actually publish it so there are two posts to read today I hope you all like them.
Leave a comment on what you want to learn more about.

Blogging from different countries
HEY!!
today is going to mostly be a recap of what I thought about the post Sarah put up yesterday.
I loved it. I didn't give her any restrictions about what to write about all i did was, "hey sarah wanna write a post in my blog about Russia?"
and BAM she said yes which was good since im running out of things to say since im in a stand still with paperwork and all that Jazz for thailand and vacation this summer. So you all are going to have to bear with some posts just being about my day.
I have recently asked another friend if she would like writing a post and she agreed as well.. Now I wont tell you where she lives i'll leave that to her. But again it will be interesting I have no clue what she is going to write about. Also, another hint but i think you all already figured it out she does not live in the United States she lives some where else.
If you live in someother country and you are a friend of mind let me know by leaving a comment or something of the sort.
If you have an interesting story about a country you have been to again let me know.
Since I'm at a stand still I feel this would be the perfect time to hear stories that other people have experienced while abroad either as a student or a tourest or if you live or reside in another country.
Also, I went back and was rereading some of my posts and I was reading the one about Payap and realized I never told you guys about Chaing Mai. So tomorrow's post I promise will be about Chaing Mai, Thailand
Until Tomorrow
